These don’t come with as many amenities as the Moderate or Deluxe resorts, and they are typically not as close to the theme parks either. Value resorts are exactly that – value priced for guests.

That can get very expensive – especially when staying at a Moderate or Deluxe Resort – and it’s easier to book a room that already sleeps more people. But, we aren’t going to always suggest that. While taking a large family to Disney World, you could also ask for adjoining rooms at most resorts in order to accommodate more people. Note the square footage on a room, the number of bathrooms, and the type of kitchen it has as well. Also, not all rooms are created equal when it comes to size, and just because a room sleeps 8 people, it may not be comfortable for 8 adults to be in that room at all times. You can basically mix and match the number of people when there are more kids, but can’t exceed the limit for the room. So if a room sleeps 8, it sleeps up to 8 adults and one child under 3.
